Well, Yeah, We all get it that awkward feeling of being rejected and our whole world being shattered, and fall apart after unsuccessful relationship, or any other disappointing matter. Okay what's the solution?
You may heard keeping your mind calm and meditate and stuff, but you so heartbroken and you can't even think those stuff.

I mean count! one, two, three. you can do that I guess (if you . Okay just do that, you probably say yeah! that will help, are you f***ing insane how could that help? ?
Well just do what I say.
when you think of him/her or thinking those useless things and how could have avoid those situations,by thinking those things, you are wasting your time!
just focus on counting beyond at least 100. You might say what a silly target? yeah, that small, tiny target also you may underestimated.When you count that by on your mind* yes, do this counting in your head, don't speak with your mouth.
When you passed 120 mark you will start seen the numbers, you will concentrate so hard that, you will visualize writing the numbers by your hand, more you control your concentration, well guys you will tap in to your imaginary dream world in fully awaken than sleeping. (well I will not talk about that which will be like lucid dreaming)
for now just focus on counting and sharpen your concentration. with this practice you will be able to start focusing on breath too. earlier trying to meditate like wasting your time, thinking how the hec i Stop wondering and keep this beast at one thought, with this simple way of practice you can shape your mind, and keep it busy, with some arrhythmic which mind hate :). I'm sure he(your mind) will beg you to stop this math stuff (unless you are a mathematician or some math lover).
After you practice well, You can say to your mind keep your a** shut when Mind brings up that emotional draining memories back. coz now you have much more control over with it.
Just focus on count. try beyond 100 ,200, 300, try various patterns and multiplications, try counting backwards give some burden to your mind and keep him busy as you can.
